Here are some helpful answers to questions people have asked ...

2016 - 2017 SKINS
Eirtae is a Universal skin and comes with system skins and head appliers for LeLutka, Catwa, LAQ, SLink, Omega, LOGO and TMP as well as body appliers for Maitreya, Belleza, SLink, Omega and TMP.

+ Ruby, S and Ella are Catwa specific heads and come with Catwa head appliers only and all body appliers mentioned above.

+ Aurora is a LeLutka Specific head and comes with LeLutka appliers only and all body appliers mentioned above.

+ Misty is a GAEG specific head and comes with Omega based GAEG appliers and although will work on other Omega heads, the texture is made to fit the GAEG heads best. It also comes back with all body appliers mentioned above.

OLDER 2015 SKINS (Jewel, Adore, Fae and Niska) will need Omega Relays / Installers for Catwa, LOGO and a few other heads brands.... You can also get these from the Omega Solutions Sim where there is a discount if you join their group. You can also visit the Omega Website for more information.

+ Things that you said should be in my package are not there +
Sometimes its worth getting a redelivery to double check and / or rezzing the original packaging and peeking inside the box itself to see if the missing things are in there but isn't transferring over into your inventory.. usually because of permissions issues. Please let me know about this as I will fix it!

Please note that in the Fantasy skins and Eirtae skins, somethings such as the Leevi Ears and the No Nipple options, are boxed up inside and will need to be unpacked.

+ If you are having applier issues for mesh bodies and heads try the following +
Before you begin.. make sure you are in a place that allows scripts to run otherwise the scripted appliers / body parts won't communicate and nothing will happen at all.

* Pressing the button on the applier more than once can force through a texture.. sometimes there is lag or the body part is being slow to respond. I notice this often with LOGO heads.
* Try removing the body / body part / head then reattaching.
* Make sure that any colour tint and clothing / tattoo layers are removed as they can interfere
* If the body / body part is grey then hold your cursor above it for a few moments. This often kicks the texture into loading fully.
* Get a redelivery of the body / body part / head .. sometimes for whatever reason, the scripts stop working or there has been an update you may have missed and a fresh delivery solves the problem.

Don't forget LOGO Omega heads need their Omega Kit to install relevant scripts into the head that allow Omega appliers to work on them. Other bodies and heads not supported by their own dedicated applier, will also need their own relevant Omega Relay or Installer Kit.

If my applier isn't working even after all above, then get a re-delivery of the skin from the Lumae store and try a fresh applier. If this still doesn't work... please IM me.

+ Skin tones don't seem to match / head is different colour to my body! +

Most of the time this occurs when using a Mesh body with a system head.. for some reason, SL lighting reacts differently to mesh body parts than it does to the system head and body. This is most noticeable under default SL lighting and certain windlight settings.

I make ALL my skins using the Windlight setting CalWL, which eliminates ALL lighting problems and creates a lighting that allows me to see my skins are seamless. I would suggest using this setting to check to see if this is the issue before contacting me.

If, however, on the rare occasion it is a different skin tone, even after checking with CalWL, please DO send me a notecard with full details of the skin name and applier you are using so I can fix the issue as soon as possible and send out an update. In the mean time we all hope Linden Labs will fix this annoying issue.

+ If you are having issues with system skins try the following +
* If you notice lines around the neck or wrist areas, please be sure you are not wearing a neck or wrist blend layer of a different skin tone. Also remove all make up layers and hair bases before contacting me.
* Right click your avatar and go into appearance. Sometimes this refreshes the avatar and makes textures appear if they are not rezzing.
* Changing shapes or eyebrow bases can also solve some problems.
* Change to a different skin and then change back.

In all instances, a relog is often something that can work and is worth trying too. Any problems that still exist after trying these, please IM me to let me know so I can fix it.

+ I've lost my item +
Use the redelivery computer terminal at the front entrance of the store. This only works for Lumae and not Aeva. If you cannot find your purchase on the Redelivery page, please contact Lumiya Rae and include proof of purchase.

+ I have an idea to make your skins better / You should do this / I want this / Why don't you do this like so and so does? +
At the very base level, my skins are my artwork and are very personal to me.. I don't think it is entirely fair to compare artists in SL. I am not them, they are not me.. they have their ways and I have mine. As much as you may really want me to do something your way, I will always have to do what I feel is right in my gut as owner of my own business.. and this is a business. It isn't faffing around on the computer or playing around in Photoshop because I have nothing better to do. This is more than a hobby to me. My skins are a result of days, weeks and months of work.. tiny triumphs when something works and hours or more of frustration when you can't get something right. I am happy to take suggestions but understand it is my work at the end of the day and I will do as I feel is right for my artistic integrity and for my own self care.

* A full description of any issue and what you have already tried
